The fifth edition of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s region-wide prize for intercultural dialogue focuses on the theme of ‘bringing people together for ecological sustainability’.
Member organizations of the 43 National Networks of the Foundation have until the 20th of May 2010 to nominate an individual or an organization renowned for promoting intercultural action to address current environmental challenges and contributing to finding common solutions for the ecological age.
Previous winners of the annual award, which was co-founded in 2006 by the Anna Lindh Foundation and its Italian Head of Network Fondazione Mediterraneo, include Combatants for Peace (Palestine/Israel), Rima Maroun (Lebanon), Rodi Kratsa (Greece), Jan Willems – Theatre Day Productions (Netherlands/Palestine) and Deir Mar Musa Monastery (Syria).
